Amanda at Carbon Salon is the best. Honestly, leaving the salon made me feel embarrassed on my most special birthday and I barely was able to wear my hair down for over 6 months. Which was a huge mistake, and an expensive one. I got this done right before my st Birthday.

It looked like a full hair dye, not a blended and beautiful balayage. It looks awful! Maybe the lighting in the photo made it look somewhat decent but geez, it was yellow and orange and looked TERRIBLE! I had comments from family and friends telling me to tone my hair.
Obviously I know it grows out… But this… is not a balayage. "Included in my pictures: the day I got my hair done, 6 months later, and the reference picture I showed to the stylist. I went in for a full balayage, and I asked if she could make it look like I spend more time out in the sun than an accountant typically would, and that’s EXACTLY what she did. She is clear and honest with ideas you bring to the table, and she checks in throughout the processes before “points of no return.” She is extremely attentive, warm, and focused on how YOU want to look. Kaitlin: The woman who worked on me is Kaitlin. They remind you of your appointment ahead of time, and once you arrive, welcoming staff is friendly and helpful! Not only did she do an amazing job, but we had fun throughout my appointment too! I felt like I was hanging with an old friend. I really appreciated that she was honest with me and took the time to discuss what I can expect with the type of cut I wanted in terms of styling and maintenance. I wanted her advice in what I should do given my hair type (fine, thick) and face shape (oval). I showed her some photos to give her an idea of what I wanted. I went in there wanting a short bob or shaggy pixie cut. I had a transformation cut scheduled with Cielle and I can already say she is my go-to for a cut.
